There was a whopping 6 middleweight fights over the last 2 cards. Nursulton Ruziboev jumps Roman Dolidze following his round 1 win over Andrey Pulyaev. Abus Magomedov jumps 4 spots after his win over Michał Oleksiejczuk who was ranked just outside the top 25 but fell 5 spots following the loss. Ikram Aliskerov jumps 3 spots to number 11 after defeating Brunno Ferreira who dropped a couple in return. Shara Bullet also jumped 2 spots after beating Michel Pereira. Pereira would have been moved down a few spots as well, but he’s been removed from the UFC roster entirely. Ryan Gandra jumped 11 spots after his win over Zach Reese, but remains outside the top 25 at this point. Damian Pinas also made a decent sized jump after beating Cesar Almeida but remains in the honorable mentions category at the moment. With Robert Whittaker’s move to Light Heavyweight in the books, a spot opened up at Middleweight, which was filled by prospect Cezary Oleksiejczuk, who now ranks ahead of his brother Michal.

Tahir Abdullayev and Jefferson Nascimento both debut well outside the top 25 after their debut bout. Same thing with fellow debutant Theodor Berggren who was knocked out Daniil Donchenko. Donchenko for his part, jumps into the honorable mention section of the rankings. Farman Hasanov and Eric Nolan also debut quite low in the Welterweight division. I’ve also made the decision to keep both Max Holloway and Conor McGregor out of my Welterweight rankings. Max because he isn’t planning to stay at 170, and Conor because of his injury and unknown return. So none of the fights on these cards directly affected the top 25.

Let’s get this out of the way first, Holloway remains at 4 despite beating McGregor in Welterweight. The win was via injury, in the wrong weight class, and Holloway would have to do a lot more than that to jump any of the names in front of him at the moment. Matheus Camilo got a big jump after upsetting Nazim Sadykov but neither enters the top 25. Rafael Fiziev gets a slight bump from beating Manuel Torres who I decided to keep at 13, despite the loss. King Green jumps closer to the top 15 with his win over Terrance McKinney, while McKinney remains outside the top 25. Paddy Pimblett switches places with BSD after his dominant victory at slots in at #5.

Even though I don’t fully agree with the decision, Jean Matsumoto jumps a few spots and Bekzat Almakhan falls 2, but both remain just outside the top 25. Farid Basharat remains unchanged after an unimpressive win over newcomer John Garza. Adrian Yañez gets a slight bump from beating Cody Garbrandt that actually pushes him into the Top 25. Finally, Mario Bautista took care of Cory Sandhagen and stole his #4 ranking.
